Your skin type can be naturally dry and so will require more hydration than other skin types, and dry skin can be made worse by things like ageing, harsh soaps and skincare, as well as hot baths and indoor heating. There are certain skin conditions that can cause dry skin, too, such as psoriasis and eczema.
