As we get older, our bodies lose the ability to produce as much hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin, which inevitably leads to signs of ageing with lines, folds, wrinkles and dull-looking skin.
Profhilo® uses ultra-pure hyaluronic acid gel that is injected just below the skin’s surface to stimulate cell receptors to produce more collagen and elastin.
This leads to firmer, brighter skin that will leave you looking fresh, feeling confident and it does not change the shape of your face.

Profhilo® is suitable for most people, apart from those who are pregnant, breastfeeding or are immunocompromised.

During this consultation, we’ll also take a detailed medical and aesthetic history to ensure Profhilo® is the best option for you.

Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed prior to treatment, and we’ll numb the areas where we plan to inject to keep discomfort to a minimum.
Profhilo® can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen. It is delivered to the skin via 10 injection points and, as it spreads under the surface, Profhilo® gets to work on hydrating and rejuvenating your skin from within.

A minimum of two treatments are recommended, four months apart. Though it’s likely you’ll see improvements immediately after your first treatment, it’s not until three to four weeks after your second treatment that a lifting and tightening effect is fully developed. We advise having maintenance treatments every three months, but you can see results for up to six months.

You may experience slight swelling, redness and bruising around injection points, but no downtime or time off work is necessary following a Profhilo® treatment. As a precaution, it’s advisable not to apply makeup to treated areas for 24 hours following the procedure.

As with any type of treatment, there is always an element of risk. In extremely rare instances, a patient might experience an allergic reaction. For that reason, Dr Raquel will ask if you have a history of allergic reactions prior to treatment.
